Mid-Asian Ibex taken at 579 yards

TJ took a beautiful Mid-Asian Ibex at 579 yards yesterday. Sorry, I didn't get much more detail on the hunt than that...I guess we will have to wait to see how it played out on TV. The other two hunters in camp have also completed their quest. Everyone is having a great time and it sounds like they have had a very memorable adventure. The weather has been very cold at night but warms up to a balmy 12 degrees celsius with clear blue sky during the day.
Tomorrow they head back through the high mountain pass to a shepherd's house, where they will boil the skulls and salt the capes.
Although the conversations are short and I don't get a whole lot of detail, it sure is great to hear from him on his satellite phone.
Well, that's all I have for now...keep checking the blog for more updates
