Foiled!

So close and yet so far! With less than 2 km left to cover to reach Russ's brokedown snowmobile we ran into a snag. 24 hours of rain in the mountains had swollen the creeks to the point they were lifting the ice. Once the Argo dropped through here we were beat. Getting the Argo out was easy but there was no way to get the brokedown snowmobile on the skimmer back across the creek. So we decided that wisdom was the better part of valor got the Argo out and turned around and headed back for the truck. Once the water has a chance to go down and the creeks have refrozen Russ will have a better chance to get his machine out.
