Renovations nearing the end!

We are just putting the final touches on our man cave reno. Still trim to put up, a few doors to replace and glass to put in our railings but man it's coming together. Curtis is going to have my Marco Polo at Huntfest next week. We'll get him up as well as a few paintings and it will feel like home again. Three months of renovation hell are coming to an end.

This Week on Outdoor Quest TV

On this week's episode of Outdoor Quest TV, Michael Kimble takes us moose hunting in northern Alberta and then Vanessa and I head up to Prince Rupurt to fish for giant tyee salmon with our good buddy Jamie Hunt at Great Pacific Salmon Lodge.

Huntfest!

Sandi and I are on our way to Chilliwack for Huntfest. If we aren't on the stage we can be found in the Zeiss booth. Drop in for a chat!

Making Progress

Gary from Twisted Log got the log railing and banister in yesterday. It looks really good and once we get the glass panels in, it's going to be awesome. Vanessa and I started laying the tile at the front entry and it looks really good. Still lots to do but it's coming nicely.

Paint Looks Great

We finished painting last night and the new colours look awesome. They really tie the room together. The new railing is going in on Monday, then the floor and some trim work and things will be back to normal...well, a cooler normal!

Tahr Hunting in New Zealand

Wood Stove is in

We had the wood stove installed today and it looks incredible. Subfloor is all ripped up at front entry and walls are ready for paint. Things are progressing nicely.
