Reno Time Again

After the major reno on our kitchen last year, the living room looked sadly outdated so we are tackling it this spring. We ripped out the old fireplace and are replacing it with a pedestal style wood stove. The wall behind it is being done in cliffstone rock and we are carrying the rock part way around the room in wainscot fashion. The trashy white banister and railing are going and being replaced with log and tempered glass panels. The carpet is going and new wide plank hickory is going in and of course we'll be doing new paint, oak trim and a cool tile job at the front door.
