Range time....and some firewood too

It's hard to believe but we leave for Africa in just a little over two months and with both Vanessa and I taking new guns, getting in some range time is critical. Vanessa's Tikka T3 .30-06 is shooting like a champ and we got it dialed in for 250 yards yesterday and then she did some practice off the sticks. I'm still tinkering with bullets for my Kimber .338 but am close to settling on a load. We shot both rifles over the chrony and then ran the numbers through the ballistic program so we are well prepared for shots in the 100-300 yard range.

We also took the time to cut a half a truck load of wood for the fireplace before heading back to the edit suite to work on episone #9. We've been getting great feedback from our Wild TV viewers and it seems everyone is axious to see more real hunting for the team here at Outdoor Quest TV.
