Sheep Season Day 5

Today there were lots of sheep working their way up Slaughter as the light first hit, so Matt and I headed up it, yet again. The wind was low until noon when the snow started. We glassed a pack of 10 wolves and bult some rock walls to get out of the wind. A couple of different legal sheep came within 300 yards of leaving the mine but all failed to complete the journey.

That sucks that you aren't seeing any sheep off the mine. We made it to Kanab today and had a great dinner at Escobar's.....the food is still as good! Hope your luck improves tomorrow.

I do remember that food!
Turns out that it wasn't the 19 year old from Wainwright that shot the ram the first day it was the guy who bought the ministers tag.
Been tough and no one has a ram yet.
Good luck elk hunting.

Did that guy kill a big ram?

Does that hat that Matt has on come in a men's version too? :D
